Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women have officially confirmed their list of retained and released players ahead of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2027 player auction. Having won titles in both 2024 and 2026, the Bengaluru franchise has prioritized stability by retaining its championship-winning core.
The team remains under the leadership of captain Smriti Mandhana, supported by a host of outstanding international and domestic players. Explosive wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh stands as the most expensive retained player at ₹1.90 crore, closely followed by Australian legend Ellyse Perry at ₹1.70 crore.

The franchise has also retained key bowlers and all-rounders, including Radha Yadav (₹65 lakh), Lauren Bell (₹90 lakh), Nadine de Klerk (₹65 lakh), Pooja Vastrakar (₹85 lakh), Arundhati Reddy (₹75 lakh), and spin sensation Shreyanka Patil (₹10 lakh). Emerging talents Georgia Voll, Prema Rawat, Sayali Satghare, and Pratyusha Kumar are also included in the list of retained players.
By maintaining its strong core, RCB aims to sustain its momentum and build a squad capable of mounting a challenge for a third WPL title in the upcoming season.
